Cleanliness is the first law of health. This is a rule we swear by. Our sterilization and hygiene standards are always impeccable.
Always Safety First
Cross-infection prevention and hygiene control is an important factor when it comes to dental treatment. We follow the highest level of sterilization and safety regime.
Our sterilization and hygiene protocol includes
One time use
We use as many disposable single use instruments and consumables as possible.
Scrub
All the dental instruments used are scrubbed thoroughly with swabs soaked in antiseptic solutions after every patient.
The instruments are then immersed in a Sterilization solution for 45 minutes for standard disinfection.
Cold Sterilization
Liquid Sterilization is carried out in a concentrated cold sterilizer for complete anti-bacterial, antiviral and fungicidal activity
Autoclaving
Our instruments are packed into sterile pouches and autoclaved in a sterilization device (Autoclave) that uses high temperatures and pressures. We use the best dental autoclaves that generate temperatures of 270 degrees. The autoclaves are also checked regularly to ensure proper efficiency and complete sterilization activity.
UV Chamber
We store all our perfectly sterilized dental instruments in a UV (Ultraviolet) chamber. This maintains a completely sterile environment which is only broken when we open the sealed packets at the start of every procedure.
At Pearl White Dental Clinic, we pride ourselves in showing you that we go the extra mile to ensure your health and safety.
Additional safety and hygiene Measures
- We use only RO filtered purified water in our chairs and hand held pieces.
- Disinfectants are passed through our water lines regularly to ensure they are free of contaminants.
- We have high intensity Medical grade air purifiers using plasma cluster ion technology and HEPA filters to keep our operatories sterile.
- All our dental equipment like digital sensors for x-rays and curing light probes have disposal sleeves that are discarded after each and every patient.
- Our staff wears sterilized aprons and rubber gloves, masks and head caps at all times, which are disposed off after every appointment.
All our dental clinics adhere to the guidelines of ISO 9001:2008 which is the most stringent governing body. We adhere to all the European norms on asepsis and sterilization.
Our safety and hygiene protocols follow the most current ADA (American Dental Association) guidelines.
